Als er drie redenen zijn om naar Egypte af te reizen valt het duiken in de Rode Zee hier zeker onder. De scuba-duiker voelt zich in Egypte als een vis in het water. Weinig landen zijn zowel boven als onder water zo indrukwekkend als Egypte. Door de fantastische locaties in de Rode Zee groeide langs de kust vergeten vissersplaatsjes uit tot bruisende duikoorden. Hurghada en El Gouna zijn de duikplaca’s achter de Rode Zeebergen  Hurghada heeft een breed scala aan duikscholen in de aanbieding. .

 Het kristalheldere water lokt  u uit een duik te nemen en het kleurrijke koraal, oude scheepswrakken en de tropische vissoorten door uw duikbril te begluren. Door de lichte stroming van het water is het zicht bijna altijd perfect. Maar ook de temperatuur is bijna het hele jaar constant en vooral erg gunstig. In de Rode Zee zijn veel spannende en uitdagende duikspots te vinden voor zowel de beginner als de ervaren duiker. De Rode Zee in Egypte is erg geschikt om in het open water te leren duiken. U kunt een vijfdaagse cursus volgen om op te gaan voor uw eerste duikcertificaat. Er zijn langs de kust meer dan genoeg duikcentra te vinden. Gaat u voor het eerst duiken, vergeet dan niet een gezondheidsverklaring van de dokter mee te nemen uit uw eigen land.
